Stage 1

Application Review

We're looking at your answers to our questions and the work you've shared, not just your CV, because that's where we get the best sense of how you think. We aim to get back to everyone promptly, whatever the outcome.

Stage 2

Intro Call

A 15-30 minute video or phone call with the hiring lead. We'll talk about what you've achieved, what you've learned, and why PAIR. Come ready to be specific about your impact.

Stage 3

Technical 2nd Stage

A focused pairing task that includes using the technology we work with day to day. This is a chance for us to see how you work on problems using the tools you are most comfortable with.

Stage 4

Final Round

An in-person session at our office, around 3.5-4 hours, typically with the hiring lead and one of our founders. It includes a short presentation, a conversation about your career, a hands-on task, and plenty of time for your questions. It's as much for you to assess us as for us to assess you.

Stage 5

Offer

If it's a yes, we'll email you the details and call you straight away. We'll give you 48-72 hours to decide, and we're happy to answer any questions in that time.

Stage 6

References

We'll ask for three referees: a manager, a peer and someone you've managed (if applicable). We'll always check with you before contacting anyone.
