Our Hiring Process
- Stage 1
Application Review
We're looking at your answers to our questions and the work you've shared, not just your CV, because that's where we get the best sense of how you think. We aim to get back to everyone promptly, whatever the outcome.
- Stage 2
Intro Call
Thanks again for applying for the Senior Full-Stack Engineer role at PAIR. After reviewing applications, we’d like to invite you to the next stage of the process.
The next stage is phone screen to get to know you. Please reply with some availability for a 30 minute phone call where we will discuss ownership, your use of AI and some technical decision making. We’ll also have time to tell you how great PAIR is and give you time to ask us questions.
If anything is unclear, feel free to reply with questions.
- Stage 3
Technical Second Stage Interview
We are looking forward to seeing you during your technical interview which will be a pairing exercise. You can find the project we will be pairing on via this link:

The exercise will be provided on the call and for the first half of the call you will be working together with a team member to complete as much of it as you can. For the second half we will ask deep dive questions to explore your technical knowledge.
I'd recommend cloning it to get familiar with the code before the call.
When we do the exercise you will have the choice to work in your own IDE, AI tools on your machine and share your screen or to use our pre-setup coderpad environment.
Any questions please let me know.
